The Magus Net proxy is a great free
public proxy server based in Arizona, USA. It can be quiet busy and
can be slow or down some times. They provide free HTTP, FTP, WAIS
and GOPHER proxy service and also offer a pay service for SSL &
SSH. and now have added a demo for SSL.
The Magus Net delgate proxy can be used in your browser setting
or manually in the url window. It also allows chaining before and
after their proxy:
